A graduate of the MA Wildlife Documentary Course at the University of Salford, Jo has several years experience working on television dramas, commercials, documentaries and films. Since 2006 she has been working her way up the ladder in the camera department keen on breaking into the wildlife film industry. She has entered her MA final film into wildlife festivals around the world. The film has been screened at a local wildlife conference, where it received great feedback. Several Wildlife Colleges have requested a copy to show their students.
In 2011, Jo worked for several months as a Runner for Post Production House and Hire Company, Films@59, who work on a variety of programmes, including the BBC's 'Frozen Planet'. She then went on to work at the BBC NHU as a Runner on 'Live N Deadly' and as a Camera Assistant on 'The History of the Olympics'. She was also the main Camera Operator on the short film A Wheeling Love Story which won at the 0117 Hour Bristol Encounters International Film Festival. Between these jobs she's worked on several Commercials as a Camera Assistant and Video Assistant.
