Sophie is an adventurous zoologist with a passion for combining expedition and physical challenges, with learning about the natural world.

Following a masters in Science Communication, she regularly explores the UK sharing stories about local wildlife and conservation, as well as presenting several short films. Last year she solo trekked the 300-mile coastline of Cornwall, using just her iPhone to create a 22-part online vlog series about her adventure and Cornish wildlife; her knowledge and 'informal but informative' delivery gaining her national and international media attention.

Regularly praised for her natural and relatable presenting style and standout narration, she also has experience presenting and filming with innovative 360/VR techniques, recently releasing a two-part series on wildlife in the Cairngorms National Park, Scotland.

She also has presented adventure science workshops at science festivals and is soon to embark on a three-week trip to Hong Kong, making films about urban wildlife and co-presenting a school science tour.

Sophie continues her outdoor adventures, aiming to inspire as many people as possible to stay curious about nature.

Sophie is often invited to write about her adventures with wildlife too, for publications such as BBC Countryfile Magazine.
